Assessments help us understand skill level, individual and team behaviors, and culture.
They are useful in change projects and one-to-one coaching. Policies, processes, and the structures connecting people formally and informally affect behavior as much as individual differences and preferences. At LWC we are always assessing informally; however, at times more formal approaches bring added value. Formal approaches may include designing and collecting information through written surveys, individual interviews, and focus groups. They may also include using commercial assessments.
